A former CIA operative suspected of being the espionage agent who helped bring down the network's operations in China has pled guilty to spying for Beijing. According to Newser, 54-year-old Jerry Chun Shing Lee was charged with the unlawful retention of secret information and conspiracy to deliver that information to aid a foreign government. Prosecutors say that after Lee left the US in 2007 to live in Hong Kong, the Chinese government paid him to provide the names of informants.
